Does the domain name that you give me to use (with my code in it) belong to me?
No, the free domain name (from the 3 selections available) that has your code in it and that houses your website does not belong to you. It is a general catch all domain that is professional, descriptive and allows you to use an identifying code within it to make it your own for use, while still looking natural and making sense ‘descriptively” to the customer viewing it.
Naturally, it belongs to us, but it’s there for you. For you to use free for as long as you want. It’s not going anywhere, you just don’t technically own it.
However, you can easily own your own domain name and and use it with our system. You can use your own existing domain name or just register a new one yourself at any domain name registrar, (for example: you could register OddJobJo.com and we would hook it up to your website). Then you would own the domain name you’re using. If you do choose this option, make sure you grab a good memorable descriptive domain name that suits the image you want to present to your customers. We use Hostinger.com to register our domain names and you are welcome to too, but any registrar is fine.
Can I use my own existing domain name or register a new one (like OddJobJo.com) to use with my Pro Website system if I want to? If so, what exactly do I have to do?
Yes, as mentioned in the previous answer, you can use your own existing domain name or register a new one to use with the Odd Jobs Pro Website system, instead of using one of the free domain name (URL) options we provide.
The process is quite simple. All you have to do is:
After you purchase a domain name of your choice from the registrar of your choice, login to your account on your registrar’s platform and change the primary and secondary DNS (Domain Name Server) info to:

What exactly happens if I decide to have my Odd Jobs Pro Website hosted somewhere else in the future? Does it cost me anything to transfer it?
No, there is no cost to transfer it. Simply login to your account on your domain name registrar’s platform and change the primary and secondary DNS (Domain Name Server) info to your new webhosts specific nameserver info (provided by them.)
After that, you will be able to upload your website to your new host’s servers by following the instructions they provide.
What happens right after I order? Explain the process involved from “sign up” to “everything being ready for me to start promoting my website and making money.” What do I have to do in this process?
When you order, you don’t have to do anything except for:
- Choose your preferred URL (domain name / web address) that you want to use to house and display your website online from the three options available.

Why do you say that the Flyer and Business Card promotion methods can actually be better than social media promotion for this particular business? Explain your reason for this? Should I not do social media promotion?
Yes, of course you can and should do social media and online promotion. All that we are saying by this is that it is usually not necessary at first or sometimes even not at all.

There are a lot of tasks and jobs on the list that I can’t do. In fact, the list of jobs I am able to perform is only about 80 out of the available 500+ options. Is this normal? Should I just leave the majority of the options unchecked?
Yes, this is completely normal. In fact, being able to do 80 out of 500+ tasks listed is quite impressive and above the average. And yes, there should be a lot of options left unchecked on the list when you click that send button.
In other words, don’t be at all discouraged if there are many tasks that you can’t perform. This is why we have included so many. The goal is not to pick every single task on the list. Being able to pick even just 20-50 tasks that you are confident performing is more than enough to sustain a typical odd jobs business. Some odd jobbers only offer 5 to 10 services and make out very well.

The Advanced Skills section contains services that require very specific trade skills and some that require a trade license where applicable.
These selections are only made available at the end as an option to those who may have these requirements and want to include these services. Consider these extra options that aren’t at all necessary.
The multitude of options given in all the other regular categories is way more than enough to sustain a full service odd jobs business. Although you can pick as many as you want, being able to pick even just 20-50 options out of the 500+ listed above is still enough, so make sure you are selective and only pick services that you are qualified to perform.
